My story

Lucy was adopted from a kill shelter with her mom-cat and sister. The adopters kept the cats closed-in a backroom where they slept in a cage. The cats were mistreated. Lucy lived in fear for six months. The shelter volunteers rescued Lucy from this bad situation. After one week in a quiet, loving foster home, Lucy started to relax. She realized she could trust people. Feeling that she was finally safe, her loving self emerged and Lucy was transformed into the adorable, affectionate, playful kitten that she was meant to be. Lucy is about 10 months old, spayed, vaccinated, Feleuk/FIV negative, de-wormed, and micro-She needs a quiet home with no very young children or dogs. Lucy gets along with most other cats. Her adopter(s) must be gentle, understanding and experienced with kittens. Lucy is very smart, well-behaved, loves to play, snuggle, and sit on your lap, but like most cats, she has to have the opportunity to make her own needs known to you rather than be forced to do things. To adopt our wonderful lovable Lucy – please contact adoptmekitten@aol.com or call 610-506-9270 - leave a message with your name, phone number, and (most importantly) email address. Please clearly state your email address. You will receive the adoption application by email. Once approved, a $60 tax-deductible adoption fee is required at the time of adoption. Our adoption area is - Philadelphia and suburbs as well as Southern New Jersey and the Jersey shore.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt LOVABLE LUCY, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
