My story

Meet Shadow! She is a female German Shephard born November 13, 2017 who is looking for a special family who will work with her megaesogphagus which is a condition that requires her to eat pureed food from sitting up. Dogs with this condition can live long and productive lives and we expect Shadow to as well! She’s friendly with other dogs great with kids and being trained /raised by Mary with Service Peace Warriors. Shadow is a beautiful girl who is very shy but bonds strongly and quickly with 'her people'. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise. Please note that adopters are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, but full consideration is given to the best fit for the dog AND the adopter. Applications can 2-4 weeks to process, application submission does not guarantee approval for adoption.
