Willson

My story

Raider's Facebook Album Willson is a very handsome black and white American Field bred English Pointer. He is around 2 years old and will need a patient but caring forever home. Willson was originally found as a stray in Southern Illinois and adopted out of the shelter and then returned- but the staff noticed he wasn't the same and think he suffered some abuse at the hands of his owner. We will never know for sure but he is showing a lot of potential to make a wonderful family pet. Willson is great with other dogs and is cat safe. He would do very well in a home with another playful buddy but we would prefer a home with older kids. I can picture Willson being happy playing with other dogs in day care or at the dog park. He will need a safe fenced in home and once healthy he will have a lot of energy and will need daily walks or runs. I do believe he must have been kept outside as he really likes being indoors and my guess is he has a lot of couch potato potential!
