My story

Hi there, my name is Huey, and I am a Chihuahua/Schnauzer/Terrier mix about 7 years old. I have been in the rescue for quite some time as it takes me a little time to trust people. I was abused in my past so on my initial meet and greets with new people I am unsure, and sudden movements make me scared and I get barky and growly. Once I get to know you and trust you can't get rid of me, I am looking for someone that understands it takes time for trust and won't push. Once we are BFFs, I am the most loyal, fun, sassy and most of all cuddly friend. I am looking for my forever home with somebody who is either a stay at home, work from home, or retired as I like to be with my people as much as possible. I am completely up to date on my vetting which includes neutered, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, Bordetella, negative fecal, negative heartworm, and microchipped. My ideal home would be with a fenced yard, and no other dogs.
