My story

My name is Moo Moo, though I don't exactly speak cow. I was abandoned in a dumpster when I was found by one of the volunteers a few years ago. I am still shy with people that I don’t know, plus shelter noises can also be scary, so I hide a lot in my cozy bed. With people I’m familiar with, I will let them pet me instead of running and that is a big step for me. Someone who will give me all the time in the world to learn that a home environment is safe would mean the world to me. I'd appreciate lots of warm hiding spots; they could help me start coming out on my own. I am learning to play with wand toys without bells, and who doesn't like treats? A home without dogs or young kids is best.
