Callie was adopted at pets mart through one of our local shelters. She had been in and out of animal control her entire life , we were told. All of the dogs were puppy’s or smaller breed dogs and there were a few other pitts in the back cages behind the smaller ones. Callie was sitting in her cage chest out , head up with nose pointed to the top of the cage she was sitting back like she had given up hope… no one seemed to be noticing Callie. As we walked past her kennel we heard a little wimper. We stopped, took a few more steps and then heard it again. So we went back to go look in the kennel and saw her beautiful eyes and face. She is a Pitt boxer mix and for sone reason people feel intimidated … she has been such a joy . She is my daughters playmate and they are in love with one another. Callie is a gentle giant and one of the best , anything, I have ever brought home from pets mart :) sorry petsmart, those vitamins weren’t as special and she was. I love her and she is apart of us and our family and we will never let her go. 4 years now and she is just the best!
