My story

Mac will be at our adoption event on Sunday 1/12 at the Newton Petsmart from 11-1! Look at this adorable boy - Mac! Mac is a 9-10 week old hound mix pup with the cutest face mask! He is currently around 10 lbs and we expect him to be medium sized when he is finished growing. While Mac’s brothers have the typical leaner hound build and shorter coats, Mac is a little bit thicker with a slightly fluffier coat making us think that maybe he is a heeler or collie mix. Mac has spent the past week in his foster home playing with two of his brothers, being exposed to the bigger dogs in his foster home and even meeting the cats! He tends to be a little bit more reserved and calm, unless he’s out in the yard then he has no fear running up to the bigger dogs and trying to play with them! He is a very sweet boy and has not been nippy, though some puppy behaviors should always be expected! Mac’s family will need to be patient and committed to all of his puppy training including housebreaking, obedience, socialization, etc. Mac is an adorable pup that will make a great addition to almost any family!
