My story

Kurt is a charming nine-month-old Terrier/APBT mix with a compact, lowrider build and a heart full of potential. Weighing just 29 pounds, he’s a young pup navigating the shelter environment with some initial caution. But give Kurt a little time to adjust, and his playful personality shines through. Kurt’s adorable play style is part pounce, part bow—a delightful display of his puppy energy. If you sit down and patiently wait, he’ll happily jump into your lap, ready for affection. Kurt is comfortable being petted all over, making him a sweet and loving companion. Still in his puppy phase, Kurt needs ongoing socialization to build his confidence and adapt to new experiences. He would benefit from leash training and puppy classes to help him thrive in his forever home. Kurt will flourish with a patient family who is ready to invest time in creating a strong bond and nurturing his growth. Kurt’s adoption fee of $300 covers spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
