Jiminy

My story

Jiminy's story is our worst nightmare. He was adopted as a puppy this summer. Then a few months later he is confiscated for cruelty. We don't know the specifics and that is ok. Jiminy seems happy and healthy and that is all we care about. He is all grown up now, but still all puppy energy. Wiggly Jiminy doesn't hold any grudges against stupid humans. He is ready to leave the shelter for good this time. Came in as a cruelty confiscate on 10/19/24 Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
