Papa

My story

A volunteer writes:I do not know if cats really have nine lives but Papa used already one when falling accidentally from a fourth floor window. He broke his thigh(femur) that was surgically repaired on November 7th. He will have to stay on cage rest until January 1st....Papa is an active happy go lucky young cat who beams when he sees someone at his door. He absolutely wants to come in my arms and is not worried, it seems, to fall off his kennel. Papa is behaving like a toddler... and whoever will adopt him in the future will have to safe proof the house.I t is hard to contain Papa but he needs his daily dose of love and happiness. Papa is doing very well after his surgery and is waiting to heal in the medical room. He is hoping to go home as soon as the veterinary team gives him the green light!I lived with children in my previous home.I have lived with cats.I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.My purr motor is always running!I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!Papa interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. We recommend that he go to a home with adopters with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in new home adjustment.
