My story

Meet Penny. Penny came to us as a retired breeder dog from a commercial kennel. She is about 3 years old and weighs about 70 lbs.Penny loves to be around other dogs and will need a home with another friendly dog to help show her that people are not so bad. We are not sure about cats. Penny would do best in house that has a fenced yard as she likes to run!!!Penny is still timid around humans but very comfortable around other dogs. Her foster is working fiercely to have her become comfortable with humans but it will take time and patience. Honestly she is a very LOVABLE dog that wants to show it but needs reinforcement that she can trust you. She is so young and trainable and has so much potential! We will only consider applications for her that have another friendly dog and securely fenced in yard as she is currently a flight risk especially without those things. Penny is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.00.
