My story

Linda A16939147 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old - Super sweet girl!- Loves to cuddle and shower you with smooches!- Also treat motivated, sits and takes them very gently- Walks well on a leash- Not currently interested in toys- Soft and smooshy face that you can’t help but kiss- She has a tibia fracture and she will be in a cast for a while. She will need bandage changes every week that we will provide to adopters if needed.- Good girl!- Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids. Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm.
