“Chirp Chirp!” No, that isn’t a bird – it’s Shoji! She cheerfully chirps to let you know she wants some pets and affection! Shoji and her best friend Undercroft are bonded cats, so they are looking for a home with space for them both. Shoji is a beautiful tabby cat who loves attention, especially in the morning to start the day off right. She is a super smart girl who enjoys playing with all kinds of cat toys, but especially wand toys. To let out some steam, both of these silly cats will get the zoomies and run around the house together! When they aren’t playing, Shoji and Undercroft love to nap together and hang out with their people. A bonded pair like Shoji and Undercroft make life better and more entertaining for each other – and their family too! They always have company when their people are away, and they always have a friend to play with. These two besties love to take care of each other throughout the day and stay cuddled up at night. Undercroft and Shoji are beautiful, hilarious cats who will brighten up your home! Shoji and Undercroft are a bonded pair and must go home together. Shoji and Undercroft are carrier trained. Adopters should be patient as Shoji and Undercroft settle into their home. Treats and play are the way to their hearts! If you are ready to welcome Shoji and Undercroft into your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to fill out the adoption application and find out more about them here - https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/b18a9615-0b78-4a7f-9af6-13f06df88c10 *The ASPCA Adoption Center encourages a $150 suggested adoption fee when adopting an animal. This suggested adoption fee allows the ASPCA to continue our lifesaving work and help even more animals in need. We are grateful for any and all amounts given at the time of adoption.* For more information on adopting from the ASPCA, please visit www.aspca.org/adoptionsteps. **The ASPCA is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of the community, the animals in our care and our staff, and we are keeping a close eye on developments related to the COVID-19 crisis as they evolve. As such, the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City is currently closed for in-person visitors. However, we are excited to offer remote adoptions using video conferencing! In-person meet-and-greets are also sometimes available or required for specific animals. Please check out our available cats and dogs above, and if one catches your eye, apply directly for him or her. An ASPCA Matchmaker will let you know if the animal you are interested in adopting is eligible for or requires an in-person meet-and-greet. Please note: Adoption applications are handled in the order they are received and submitting an adoption survey does not constitute a hold or guaranteed adoption. You can expect to receive automated emails updating you on your adoption status as our Matchmakers go through applications. Thank you for your patience, and we hope you find your match!** October 28, 2024, 3:51 pm
