My story

Rocket is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Rocket is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Rocket: Housebroken: Doing well when on a consistent routine, going out every few hours Crate trained: He has done well in his crate overnight, but can take some time to settle when left at home alone in his crate so he will need to work on this once in his new home. Leash walking: Doing well! He can pull slightly and while this has been very manageable, he would benefit from continuing to work on loose leash walking skills. Dog social: He has lived with resident dogs in a prior foster home and had been doing well. He is friendly and playful. He can be protective of his food, so should be fed separately from other dogs. Cat social: He has done well in living with a cat after a slow, proper intro period. Kid friendly: He has lived with older kids in his foster home and did very well with them! Rocket likes: - Playing with dog pals, or a stuffed toy - Going for long walks - Cuddling with his person Rocket is a dream dog who loves to snuggle. He is a smart puppy who seems to just want to please the people around him, and the fact that he is so food motivated makes him so easily trainable! He is also playful and might just be the king of the pounce!!! He enjoys having dog friends to play with, but does need to be fed separately as he can be protective of his food. He can sometimes become a little jumpy and mouthy (play bite) when he is overly excited, but he has been easy to redirect too an appropriate toy. This fun young fella would love a home where he'll get plenty of mental enrichment and physical activity, and can keep working on the basics with positive reinforcement!
