My story

Meet Coco, a precious 9-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing in at about 9 pounds! Coco was originally adopted from us after her owner passed away a few years ago. Coco sadly was returned as she was uncomfortable around the toddler in the home. Coco has a precious little smile and enjoys the attention from staff. She can be shy at first and seems most comfortable around women. Coco previously lived as the only pet in the home. We think she’d do best as the only pet or possibly with another easy going small dog. Coco enjoys curling up in a comfy bed and going on little walks to explore. Once she's comfortable with you, she will happily sit in your lap or burrow into your clothes. She had a dental and surgery to correct her cherry eye. Unfortunately, what teeth she had left were in such poor condition that they had to pull them. She is on a wet food only diet at the moment as she heals from the dental. Her cherry eye did return, but it does not bother her or impede her vision.
