My story

Meet Queen! This gentle girl is shy and unsure at first, but she’s slowly learning to trust. When I first met her, she was nervous and hesitant, keeping her distance with her tail tucked. However, after a little patience and some treats, she started to come around. While she wouldn’t take treats directly from my hand, she was curious enough to inch closer and nibble on them from a safe distance. Queen is still working on finding her confidence and wasn’t quite ready to leave her kennel, but she did greet another dog next door with a calm curiosity. With time, she started to relax and let me pet her, first with a toy, then gently with my hand. Her eyes softened, and she leaned into the pets, showing she’s ready to open up to the right person. She’s not the type to rush into things, but with patience and love, Queen will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. She gave me a few soft licks on my arm and even stayed comfortably lying down while I pet her. If you’re looking for a dog who just needs a little extra love and understanding, Queen could be the one for you.
