What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!A Volunteer Wrote: When a staff member saw me walking this dear boy, she exclaimed, "Oh, that's Triceratops! He's famous!" I asked her what he was famous for, and she said, "For being such a good boy!" He has charmed everyone in his self-appointed role as shelter diplomat: He insists on greeting everyone he passes, whether they are sitting or walking by, with a wagging tail and a smile, even when he is desperate to get outside to go to the bathroom (he appears housetrained.) Once outside, he continues to wag his tail at passersby--although never pulling on the leash. Triceratops came in as a stray so we don't know about his previous life, but it's easy to guess it was rough: His ears and head are marked with small scars. It's amazing he retains his love of people, but he has it in abundance. Triceratops has yet to extend his generous heart to showing love for other dogs in the shelter, but if he can be the only dog he is sure to be king of your heart! Primary Color: Fawn Secondary Color: Fawn Weight: 57 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks
