Suzie

My story

Sweet Suzie was found by her foster parents on the street shaking and afraid. Since coming home with them, she has started to gain confidence and trust her people. Although she's not completely out of her shell yet, Suzie has shown her goofy, playful side and her sweet, gentle side. We know with time and patience, she'll shine and make a perfect best friend! Since being home, Suzie has quickly learned some important tricks. This smart girl now knows sit, down, paw, and stay! She's eager to please, especially if it means she has a yummy treat coming her way. Suzie has been loving long walks in Fairmount Park, frolicking in the grass, and watching squirrels. At home, she has been loving chewing bones, her kong, and solving puzzles for treats. We think Suzie could do okay with other dogs, especially smaller dogs, but a slow introduction would be needed in order to set both dogs up for success. Soon Suzie will be introduced to her foster parents' resident dog and cat, so check back soon to find out how she does. Unfortunately, we don't think Suzie would do well in a home with young kids due to her play style. If you're willing to be patient and take lots of time to get to know her, we know Suzie would make a perfect companion! She's also a great dog to have if you're looking to make friends or connect with your neighbors, this cutie is always getting stopped on the street for her good looks!
