My story

Emily is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Emily is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support More about Emily: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: She has done well with free roam when home alone Leash walking: She has done well on leash, but can be stubborn when it is time to go home and tends to require a little coaxing with treats. Dog social: She has made friends with some dogs outside of the home who have a similar rough playstyle, but she has shown some protectiveness over her space and toys that will need to be managed when around other dogs. Cat social: Not a match for a home with cats Kid friendly: She'd do best in an adult-only home, as she has shown resource guarding behaviors Emily likes: - Laying outside and enjoying a nice breeze - Getting scritches and chewing on her chew toys - Being as close to you on the couch as possible Emily is looking to fill the 65lb hole in your heart, yard, couch, and bed! This snuggle queen is a girl of opinions and a lack of personal space. She does fine living in the city and doesn't mind other dogs, thunderstorms, or fireworks, but she does mind when you're sitting in her spot or trying to get work done on your computer while rudely ignoring when she wants to hang outside. Since she loves her outdoor time so much that she can sometimes refuse to leave the park, she would love a quiet neighborhood or a home with a yard where she can lounge at length. She can be protective of her belongings, so may not be a match for a home with kids, and would need management around other dogs. She can also be a bit jumpy sometimes when she gets super excited, so would benefit from continuing to work on this with positive reinforcement.
