My story

Schumacher is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Schumacher is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking regular allergy medications and joint supplements More about Schumacher: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: He has done well with free roam when home alone, for up to 5 hours Leash walking: Great! Dog social: He will greet other dogs and be quite friendly, but does not seem interested in playing Cat social: Unknown, but he has shown prey drive toward squirrels on walks Kid friendly: He will need an adult-only home, as he has seemed uncomfortable around kids on walks and does not like to have his paws touched Schumacher likes: - Being a supportive "office assistant" and resting at your feet while you work from home - Enjoying a nice nap on the deck on sunny days - Cuddling with his stuffed bunny, with whom he's had a successful long term relationship Schumacher has a loyal heart of gold! He is independent, can be trusted home alone, and will welcome you home like he's been waiting for that very moment all day. He can be nervous around kids, so would do best in an adult-only home. While he may not love his paws touched, he otherwise LOVES pets and will gaze lovingly in the eyes of those he cares about. Walks and time outside are his jam. He's super flexible so both long and short walks work.....just let him sniff and he's a happy man.
