My story

Hit the trail with Claus! There's nothing like camping or hiking with a furry friend. They help you to be in the moment, to stop and smell the roses, and they're such great company. If you've been wanting a companion to enjoy the great outdoors with, Claus may be your guy! This stunning, curious, confident 2-year-old German shepherd loves to go out and about, and is super smart. He's a quick learner, attentive, and adores people. (Other dogs, not so much at this stage. He should be the only dog in your home.) We think he'd thrive with someone who would get him into parks and nature and expend some energy. * Alert, intelligent * Loves people * Best tongue-out faces * Quick learner * Might not be dog friendly * Adults-only forever home preferred * Dog-savvy kids 14 and older okay Did you know FAAS offers $200 of canine behavior training with every dog adoption? Come take Claus for a walk along our waterfront and get to know this bold, beautiful youngster. We're open noon to 4PM every day but Monday at 1590 Fortmann Way location in Alameda, California.
