My story

Welcome Mona, our little 10 pound cutie!  Mona can be a bit shy when first introduced to new folks but warms up quickly.  At 8 years old, she is looking for that perfect lap to call her own.  She loves to receive human attention and will sometimes get a bit pushy when other littles want attention.  She does respond well when corrected with "No". Her foster mom says she is great when walking on a leash but loves the after-walk couch time even more!  Her best fit would be as an only dog or with a small, male, laid-back doggy. Mona is house, crate and leash trained, must have a securely fenced yard in her forever home. Households with young children are not a good fit for Mona.   Mona is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $350 helps offset the rescue's medical expenses.
