Lobot

My story

Lobo is blooming! This is the boy you adopt if your pups have been asking for a friend. He adores other dogs. He will run and wrestle all day long. He will make you laugh with his antics. He loves to help with the gardening and will find all the sticks in the yard to pick up and carry around and will pull some tasty leaves off plants at his level So how about the downside of Lobo? Well he came to us from a breeder in Oklahoma that was shut down by the humane society. He is just a baby still but he had minimal contact with kind people early in his life. He is still scared to be pet but is coming up for some chin scratches especially if food is involved. He is finally taking treats from his foster mom and dad's hands which is a huge milestone for this guy.  He easily shares his toys and food with other dogs. We have discovered he loves going for walks but walks better if he has a buddy with him. He has the most gorgeous merle brush coat ( I just wish he loved us petting him) Lobo sleeps on a dog bed in his foster's bedroom. He has never tried to get up on the bed as much as we beg him too! He does love to sleep on the sofa especially when no one is watching. This boy has finally had his eyes done and a mini brow lift and OMG he can see. He has the most gorgeous green brown eyes. Lobo's forever home will definitely need someone who is patient and will give him time to come around. He will need another dog or 10 :) in his forever home who love to play. He is dog door trained so a yard would be a huge plus.  He loves riding in the car and has become a huge fan of hiking with his foster family. We truly believe the key to winning his guy over is consistent walks or hikes and LOTS of treats!        November 6, 2024, 2:40 pm
