My story
Notes from staff 6/26: Irah is sadly pretty shut down here, and could use a home to decompress in. He sticks to lying at the back of his kennel, hesitant with interaction. I slowly inched my hand towards him and although he didn't lean towards my hand, he let me give him some pets. He seemed to enjoy gentle pets and chin scratches, but preferred just by his head. When I pet his upper back briefly he would curl a bit more in and pull his tail towards him, so I stuck to his head. He's very sweet but is pretty sad here unfortunately.
