My story
Little Mabel is a petite 1.5-year-old beagle mix, weighing about 20lbs. She is quite nervous in the noisy shelter and would greatly benefit from a calm home to decompress in. Mabel is very sweet though and will crawl into your lap for pets and love. She seems to enjoy the company of the other small dogs she's been around so far. Mabel is hoping to find someone who doesn't mind the howls and barks of a beagle as she is very vocal!Mabel has tested positive for Lyme and Ehrlichia. She has completed treatment for this. We encourage anyone who is interested in Mabel to do some research on these conditions prior to inquiring!
