Buttercup has been through quite a bit in the last week after being discovered as a stray with a prolapsed rectum. She has just undergone surgery to attach her colon to the inside of her body wall so that her rectum does not prolapse again and she is in recovery from this and her spay procedure for about two weeks. She is the sweetest little pup and has been a welcome patient in the clinic for her multiple procedures. Take Buttercup home with you today to get her on the road to recovery!Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. **HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal's location.(If you cannot see the animal's location, please view the pet's profile through our website: https://www.seattle.gov/animal-shelter/find-an-animal/adopt)From the Dog Kennels/Kennel Group I/Kennel Group Q (in shelter):To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 - 5 pm Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
