My story

MY foster writes:Leia is a sweet, energetic young dog. She loves her tennis balls and enjoys scampering around the house hunting for them! We're still working on pulling on the leash and needs a bit more time to warm up to people. Leia's a smart dog and definitely eager to learn.What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.I am looking for a home with a patient person.Please check here for updated adoption hours.A volunteer writes: At a mobile adoption event we had 5 boroughbreds, and Leia reminded me of a chocolate swirl ice cream. Her dark chocolate coat with a little vanilla mixed in. She patiently waited to meet potential adopters and received a lot of pets and treats. Leia was vocal when she saw a volunteer giving treats to another boroughbred, she barked to ensure she didn't miss out! Of course what a girl wants, a girl gets!
