PetSmart Charities of Canada has helped more than 400 thousand pets across Canada find loving homes through our in-store adoption program. But, we’re just getting started! Bringing adoptable pets from local animal shelters into PetSmart stores for everyday adoptions and special events helps more pets find loving homes. These opportunities also build stronger relationships with pet lovers in communities across the country. Our Adoption Prep grants are designed to support PetSmart Charities of Canada Adoption Partners with building and sustaining their in-store adoption programs.
Adoption Prep grants help animal welfare organizations provide shelter, medical care and enrichment for adoptable pets until they find their people. The funding also helps sustain shelter operations to maintain their adoption programs in PetSmart stores long term.
