Meet Velma With her stunning blue eyes and sweet, affectionate personality, Velma has a way of making everyone fall in love with her. At just 4 months old, she's a happy, playful puppy who is ready to find a family of her very own. Velma absolutely thrives on attention and is happiest when she's close to her people. She's the kind of puppy who wants to be included in everything you're doing, whether it's playtime in the yard, relaxing on the couch, or learning something new. She's incredibly smart and catches on quickly. In her foster home, the puppies began learning to go to their own feeding spots at mealtime, and by the second day Velma already knew exactly where she belonged. She's wonderful with the foster family's 5-year-old child and enjoys playing with the resident dogs as well as her siblings. One of the sweetest things about Velma is how badly she wants to be friends with the family cats. She approaches them with hopeful curiosity and would love nothing more than for them to return the favor. While the cats haven't quite accepted her invitations yet, Velma politely respects their boundaries when they let her know they've had enough. Like the rest of the Scooby Gang, Velma's life didn't begin the way any puppy's should. She was found abandoned with her siblings, hungry, covered in fleas, and suffering from irritated skin and hair loss. Thanks to plenty of love, good food, and medical care, she has blossomed into a healthy, confident puppy whose joyful spirit never stopped shining through.
