Hey there… I’m Breezy. I’m 6 years young, about 10 pounds of pure love, and I’m putting myself out there because I’m ready to find my person. 🐶 About Me: ✔️ Age: 6 (mature, calm, and past the puppy drama) ✔️ Breed: Shih Tzu mix (aka fluffy perfection) ✔️ Weight: ~10 lbs (portable cuddle size) ✔️ Housetrained: Yes (I’m a lady, after all) ✔️ Dog Friendly: Yes (I play well with others) My Vibe: If you’re into chill, easygoing energy… we’re already a match. I’m not here for chaos—I’m here for cozy. Think quiet companionship, soft cuddles, and just enjoying life together. I’m the kind of girl who’s happy simply being by your side. 💛 What I Love: 🐾 Snuggling up close (this is my specialty) 🐾 Sniffing out new toys (I’ve got a great nose 😉) 🐾 Walks + fresh air 🐾 Car rides (I ride like a pro) 🐾 Backyard exploring 🐾 Listening to birds sing (it’s kind of magical) A Little About My Journey: I may do things a bit differently than other dogs—and that’s okay. I’m missing one eye, and I’m blind, but don’t let that fool you… I navigate the world with my heart, my nose, and a whole lot of trust. I just need a little consistency and love, and I adapt beautifully. I do require eye drops for my remaining eye—think of it as a tiny part of my daily self-care routine. 💧 Dining Preferences (because I’m fancy like that): I do best with smaller meals spread throughout the day instead of two big ones. Same amount of food—just served in a way that keeps me feeling my best. My Ideal Match: Someone kind, patient, and loving. A calm home where I can feel safe, learn the layout, and settle into a routine. If you’re someone who believes that the best connections aren’t about perfection—but about heart—we’re going to get along just fine. Fun Fact: I may not see you… but I will feel you—and I will love you with everything I have. 💖 So… what do you say? Ready to fall in love with a little dog who will make a big impact on your life? Breezy is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Breezy ’s adoption fee is $275 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.
