QUICK FACTS Name: Gentleman Age: About 5 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Shepherd – Jindo Mix Color: Beige and White Weight: 28kg / 61.7lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My journey almost ended before it truly had a chance to begin. I found myself at the city shelter, waiting among many other dogs with an uncertain future ahead. Then, just when I needed it most, someone chose to give me a chance. I was rescued from the euthanasia list and welcomed into safety. Since then, I've been leaving those difficult days behind and learning to enjoy the kindness and comfort that every dog hopes for. Now I greet each new day with a hopeful heart, ready to share my gentle spirit with the people I meet.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Being a big guy has its perks— While other dogs zoom around and play, I’m usually the one calmly watching from the sidelines, taking it all in. My friends say I’m the gentle giant type, and honestly, that sounds about right. I have a relaxed nature, a sweet heart, and a soft spot for people. I’m polite with both humans and dogs, and I tend to get along with everyone I meet. I’ve always been the peacemaker in the group and I’m perfectly happy sharing my space. I enjoy attention from people and I’m known for being affectionate, friendly, and easy to love. My calm energy and thoughtful nature make me a wonderful companion both at home and out in the world. If you’re looking for a loyal friend with a gentle soul, I’ll be right there beside you—quietly keeping you company, happily accepting a few scratches, and making everyday moments feel a little warmer.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m the kind of dog who enjoys making new friends wherever I go. Whether I’ve known you for years or just met you, I’m happy to come over for some attention, lean in for pets, and soak up the affection. Being handled doesn’t bother me, and I’m comfortable being gently picked up with support under my belly. While I haven’t had the chance to spend time around children under 13 yet, I greet people with an open and friendly attitude. · With Dogs: When I meet other dogs, I’m polite and happy to say hello, but I usually prefer to keep things brief and go about my own business. I’m not especially interested in playing or spending lots of time with dog companions, and I rarely seek out interactions with other dogs. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy getting out for walks and exploring the world around me, but I’m not always on the go. After some fresh air and activity, I’m usually happy to settle down and relax by your side. Thanks to my experience on walks, I’m comfortable on leash, stay close to my person, and don’t feel the need to pull ahead.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m easygoing around food and don’t feel the need to guard my meals or treats from people or other dogs. I’m a quiet companion who rarely barks I settle calmly when placed in a kennel. I may be tempted to do a little marking when I arrive somewhere new and unfamiliar. With a consistent routine and guidance, I usually settle in and adjust to my surroundings as I become more comfortable.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
