Pedro

My story

Pedro loves affection and always greets his favourite people with excitement. This young and happy boy has had a very tough life. He was rescued from the Middle East, where he was tied up to be sold at a market. When he was rescued he was very traumatized and had an injured leg. Pedro has received lots of training and rehab, but he will need an understanding family who is committed to continuing his progress. He recently received a surgery to correct his leg and will need a few months of special care in order for him to heal. Pedro is super friendly with people he trusts, but can be nervous and reactive to new people when he is not introduced to them slowly. Pedro does well with dogs with a good introduction, and can be reactive on leash with new dogs. He will require ongoing training and support, which will be provided by our trainers at Dog Tales.
