My story

Little Willie is an unusually calm and gentle puppy who doesn't get overly excited about much. He is affectionate and loves being around his people, but he also has a wonderfully easygoing personality. He enjoys playing with soft toys and chewing on bones, and he absolutely loves water! His playful side comes out in short bursts before he's happy to settle again. Like any young puppy, Little Willie will need continued work on house training, crate training, leash skills and learning appropriate puppy manners. He would do well with a family who can give him the patience, structure and affection he needs as he grows. Foster Backstory: Little Willie and his littermates were found together in the middle of the road when they were only about 8-9 weeks old. At an age when they should have been safely tucked away with their family, these little puppies were left to fend for themselves in a dangerous situation. Thankfully, they were rescued and given the chance to grow up safe and loved. Little Willie has quickly shown what a special little guy he is. He is incredibly calm and gentle for a puppy, with a sweet, affectionate personality and an easygoing nature. He doesn't get overly excited about things and is happy to enjoy life at his own pace. He loves water, chewing on bones and playing with soft toys, although his playful bursts are usually short before he settles again. Little Willie has so much potential and is ready to leave his rough start behind and begin the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him, guide him and show him just how wonderful life can be. **adopters must be able to pick up in Niagara Falls, NY** Crate size: Large Good with adults: Yes Good with kids: No experience Good with dogs: Yes, good with other large dogs Good with cats: No experience House trained: No Crate trained: No Energy level: Low for a puppy Can be handled/touched: Yes Barker: Not an excessive barker Flight risk: No; however, all dogs should be considered flight risks in new environments Food aggressive: Has displayed some food guarding around litter mates; all dogs should be fed separately Current food: Pedigree Puppy Walks on leash: No Leash reactive to people or dogs: No experience Rides well in cars: Yes Destructive: Normal puppy behaviour; enjoys chewing and may pull the stuffing out of soft toys Needs a home with a yard: Yes Needs a home with another dog: No Can live in an apartment: No Please visit our website niagaradogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
