Oso

My story

Rocky and Oso are a bonded pair of little Chihuahua boys who came into our care after their owner sadly passed away. Rocky is a 2-year-old brown Chihuahua, and Oso is around 1 year old with the cutest dark brown and white coloring. These little guys have had a lot of change to process. They don’t understand why their whole world was suddenly turned upside down, and it has taken them a little time to feel safe and comfortable at the sanctuary. But through it all, they’ve had each other and having their best friend by their side makes everything just a little less scary. As they’ve started to settle in, we’re seeing more and more of their sweet, spunky personalities come out. They’re letting their guards down, learning to trust, and discovering that maybe this new chapter isn’t so scary after all. They’ve even started foster so they can experience the comfort of being in a home and being around other pups. Rocky and Oso are shy, sweet little guys who don’t need much, just patience, love, and each other. They’ve already lost so much, and now they’re ready for the fresh start they deserve, together. If you’re ready to welcome Oso and Rocky into your life, please fill out an adoption application at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. Once we receive your application, we’ll be happy to answer any questions and arrange a meet and greet with these two very cute little guys!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Oso, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
