My story

Sweet Vicky is a beautiful black Potcake mix who is ready to leave her days on the streets behind and discover what it truly means to be part of a loving family. Vicky is a happy, playful girl with a gentle nature and plenty of love to give. She was found as a stray, but despite whatever challenges she may have faced before being rescued, Vicky has remained wonderfully trusting of people. Vicky absolutely loves people and other dogs. She enjoys attention, being petted, and simply being near her humans. She is friendly with women, men, and children, and she gets along beautifully with other dogs. She is also cat-friendly, making her a wonderful candidate for a variety of loving homes. This girl has a playful spirit and a medium energy level. She would love a home where she can have some outdoor space to stretch her legs, explore, and enjoy playtime. A yard is preferred for Vicky, and an apartment would not be suitable for her. Having another friendly dog in the home would be ideal because she truly enjoys canine companionship, but it is not a requirement. Vicky is already crate trained, rides well in the car, and is not destructive. She isn't known to be a barker or a flight risk, and she has no food aggression. She's comfortable being handled and touched and is happy to receive all the affection you have to offer. Her house training and leash skills are still a work in progress, but she's learning. She currently enjoys kibble with rice and shredded chicken and is settling nicely into her routine. Most of all, Vicky is a sweet, social, playful girl who loves to be loved. After starting life as a dog found wandering the streets, she deserves the chance to finally know the safety of a family, a cozy bed, a fenced yard to explore, and people who will never let her wonder where she belongs again. If you're looking for a loving companion who will happily greet you with a wagging tail, enjoy playtime with you or another dog, and soak up every bit of affection you can give, Vicky may be your girl.
