My story

AGE: 4 yearsSEX: FemaleBREED: Northern MixENERGY LEVEL: MediumDOG FRIENDLY: Yep!CAT FRIENDLY?: UntestedKID FRIENDLY?: Yep!Meet Shiloh! This beautiful girl has blossomed into a much more confident, playful, and affectionate dog who is ready to find a family of her own. She loves being close to her people, happily seeking out pets and affection, and her playful personality has really started to shine. She especially loves her morning play sessions, long sniffy walks, and a good bully stick. She also has the most adorable husky yodel to greet the day! Shiloh has a sneaky side, too, and thinks hiding her people’s shoes is a pretty fun game.Shiloh has come a long way with her confidence and is now much more comfortable meeting new people and experiencing the world around her. She may still take a moment to warm up in some new situations, but she is increasingly curious and happy to engage. She currently lives with another dog, and the two have become quite the pair, regularly play-fighting, chasing each other around, and generally having a great time together. She enjoys seeing other dogs on walks and would likely do well with another medium or large dog who enjoys having a playful companion. She has also met children and has been wonderfully gentle with them, though a home with kids who understand dog boundaries would be ideal. Shiloh is now house trained and generally settles well at home, although she can be tempted to chew on things that aren’t meant for her. Providing appropriate chews and toys, along with a little redirection when needed, will help her make good choices. She also settles nicely in her crate after a little encouragement at bedtime.Shiloh is still learning about some of the busier parts of the world and can be nervous around traffic, cars, and unfamiliar environments, but her confidence has improved tremendously with patience and positive experiences. As she’s become more confident, she has also started pulling a little more on leash, so she’ll need continued guidance and training to help her channel her enthusiasm on walks. She loves taking her time to sniff and explore and has a strong prey drive toward small animals, so she’ll also need continued management in this area. Overall, Shiloh has transformed into a much more confident and playful girl while still being the sweet, gentle companion she has always been. If you're looking for a loving dog who enjoys both cuddles and a good play session, Shiloh may be the perfect addition to your family!Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Shiloh?
