My story

Julia is a beautiful Husky mix with a soft white and cream coat, a gentle heart, and an even sweeter personality. She's the perfect medium-sized companion for a family looking for a loyal best friend. Julia's story began on the streets of Mexico, where she was found wandering alone. Despite her difficult start in life, she has never let her past define her. Instead, she greets the world with kindness, trust, and a wagging tail, reminding everyone she meets just how resilient dogs can be. One of Julia's greatest joys is spending time with people. She loves gentle pets, enjoys being close to her family, and happily welcomes affection from both men and women. She is wonderful with children and is very friendly with other dogs, making her an excellent addition to a home with canine companions. While she hasn't been tested with cats, her calm and social nature suggests she'll thrive with proper introductions. Julia is house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and absolutely loves heading outdoors for adventures. Whether it's a stroll around the neighborhood, exploring a trail, or relaxing in a fenced yard, she's happiest when she can enjoy the fresh air with the people she loves. She rides calmly in the car, isn't destructive, rarely barks, and has no issues with food guarding or leash reactivity. Although she's learning about crate training, Julia isn't a fan of being confined, so a family that can continue working with her patiently and positively will help her build confidence. Because she enjoys having space to stretch her legs, a home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal. While she'd love to have another friendly dog to play with, it's not a requirement-she'll be just as happy soaking up all the love as your one-and-only companion. Julia has so much love to give and is ready to leave her life as a stray behind forever.
