QUICK FACTS Name: Nageum Age: About 6 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 13kg / 28.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a dog meat farm in April 2024 and given the chance to leave that difficult life behind. Since my rescue, I've been surrounded by kindness and care, slowly discovering a world filled with new experiences and love. Now I'm looking forward to finding a forever family and beginning a beautiful new chapter filled with happiness, comfort, and adventures together.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Nageum! I'm a calm, gentle Jindo girl with an easygoing personality and a sweet side that comes out more once I feel comfortable. I can be a little reserved when I first meet someone, but with familiar people, I'm completely different—I love following them around, staying close by, and quietly asking for affection whenever I get the chance. I have a wonderfully steady nature, but everyone believes there's an even more playful and affectionate side of me waiting to come out once I have a home of my own. With more space, stability, and a family I can truly bond with, I'm sure I'll continue to blossom and show just how loving I can be. If you're looking for a loyal, calm companion who will quietly stay by your side and grow closer to you every day, I'd love the chance to become part of your family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but a tasty treat is a wonderful way to win me over! I warm up quickly and soon become comfortable enough to enjoy gentle pets and affection. Once we've become friends, I'll even roll over and show you my belly—a special sign that I trust you. I'm also comfortable being gently picked up when needed. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still waiting to discover what they're like. · With Dogs: I'm comfortable approaching unfamiliar dogs to say hello, although I'm usually not interested in playing with them. Because I may stand my ground and react if another dog provokes me, calm, careful, and supervised introductions are important when I'm meeting a new friend for the first time. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors, whether we're exploring or going for a nice walk together. Once I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax calmly. I may pull on the leash at times, but I generally follow my person well and enjoy walking together.   TRAINING & HABITS I don't guard my food from people, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I'm eating, so I appreciate having my own space during mealtimes. I may bark when I see unfamiliar people I stay calm and relaxed in my kennel. I'm flexible with my potty habits and can use indoor pee pads as well as go outside for bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
