My story

Meet me at PetSmart Hurst! I am currently in the adoption area waiting for my forever home. Email meowtownar@gmail.com to schedule a time to meet me. From her foster mom, Christina: Daisy is a sweet, easygoing girl with a very special talent. She dances for dinner. The moment Daisy sees her wet food coming, the excitement takes over and she starts prancing up on her back legs in anticipation. Apparently simply waiting on all four paws isn't nearly festive enough when dinner is involved. When she isn't performing her pre-dinner routine, Daisy is a wonderfully affectionate companion. She loves being held, enjoys curling up in a lap, and likes spending time with her people. But she also has an independent side and is perfectly content hanging out nearby or entertaining herself when you're busy. Daisy has a moderate energy level and loves to play, especially with ball maze toys. Give her one and she'll happily bat the ball around the track, trying over and over to catch the one toy that somehow keeps getting away. She also does well with other cats, so a friendly feline companion could be a nice fit. Dogs, however, are not Daisy's cup of tea, and she'll be happiest in a dog-free home. She can live with older children and would especially enjoy a calm, loving household where she can settle in, feel safe, and get plenty of affection. You'll notice that one of Daisy's eyes looks a little different. Shortly after she arrived in foster care, another cat scratched her eye during the night. She's been under veterinary care for it since July and has done very well. Daisy can see, and she's been cleared for adoption. At this point, she simply needs eye drops until she's about a year old and fully grown, followed by a recheck with the eye vet. The little spot on her eye doesn't slow her down or change the sweet, playful girl she is. It just makes Daisy's adorable face uniquely hers. What Daisy really wants isn't complicated: a peaceful home, people who love her, a comfortable lap, a few favorite toys, and wet food worth dancing for. She's already overcome the hardest part of her eye injury. Now she just needs someone who doesn't mind giving her drops for a while and can see what her foster family sees: a sweet, affectionate little girl who deserves to be somebody's baby. And if you happen to appreciate a little dinner theater? She's got that covered too. Born 04/16/2026 At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house. This kitten has not been spayed yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for spay later. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
