My story

Meet Shadow! Shadow's journey to us happened by chance. She, along with Bailey and Bruce, were sent on a transport without a rescue waiting for them, leaving them with nowhere to go. Thankfully, Niagara Dog Rescue was able to step in, and a kind foster immediately welcomed them on very short notice until arrangements could be made for them to come into our care. Before that, Shadow had already experienced more uncertainty than any dog should. Her original owner gave her away, and for a period of time, she was living outdoors before finally finding safety. Despite her difficult start, Shadow has remained incredibly resilient and is now ready to leave her past behind and find the loving forever home she deserves. Shadow is a lovely Lab mix with a friendly, gentle nature. Because she's still new to us, we're continuing to learn more about her personality and preferences each day. What we do know is that she enjoys human companionship and has been friendly with everyone she's met so far. We also know that Shadow is crate trained, which has helped her settle into her new surroundings. With patience, love, and consistency, we believe this sweet girl will continue to blossom.
