My story

Hi, I'm Chiquita Banana, let me tell you about me! I am almost 4 years old and a very easy companion dog.  My temporary digs are OK but I would really like a home of my own, could it be with you?  I'm a little Chihuahua/pug mix, also known by the designer name: chug.  I am friendly and a great leash-walker who knows how to sleep in a crate at night and potty outside!  I am a sturdy 9.5 lbs but could easy gain a pound to be my perfect weight.  I was very overwhelmed in my previous home with 10 large dogs, so really prefer to share my forever home with no more than one small doggy.  Pick me!!! I am already spayed, my vaccinations are up to date, have a microchip and will be ready to adopt once my doggy dental is done in the next couple weeks.  Keep following me and the Rescue's website for updates.  If you want more info, live in the Phoenix metro area and feel you might be my forever home, applications are being accepted at their website www.helpadogsmile.org.  The application is not a commitment to adopt, it is a tool used by the rescue to see if we are a good match!
