My story

Coopies story is one of quiet resilience and new beginnings. This beautiful 7-year-old Shepherd mix has spent her early years being a devoted mama, caring for her litter of puppies with unwavering love. Now that her pups have found their forever homes, its finally her turn to experience what it means to be cherished not as a mom, but as someones beloved companion. Coopie is the definition of a gentle soul. Shes affectionate, loyal, and wonderfully goofy once she feels at home. She loves nothing more than spending time with her people curling up at your feet, nudging your hand for pets, or flopping over for a good belly rub. Shell happily follow you around the house, curious about whatever youre up to, and she never turns down an invitation for a cuddle session.Outside, Coopie comes alive. She enjoys lounging in the sun, rolling around in the grass, and playing with her favorite ball. Shes always up for a stroll through the neighborhood or a drive in the car shes a great travel buddy who loves to gaze out the window and enjoy the ride. Her medium energy level makes her a versatile companion: playful and alert when its time for activity, but calm and content when its time to relax.Though she can be a little shy with new people, Coopies confidence grows with gentle reassurance and consistency. Once she knows shes safe, her loving and loyal personality shines through. She bonds deeply with her humans and will reward their patience with unshakeable devotion.Coopie is fully housebroken and crate trained, and she walks nicely on a leash. She has wonderful manners around the house and is not destructive instead, she prefers cozy naps, soft toys, and being close to her people. While she hasnt had much exposure to very young children, shes comfortable around older, respectful kids (12+) who understand her calm nature and need for gentle handling.Because Coopie values peace and predictability, shell thrive in a quiet, stable home where she can be the center of attention. A fenced yard would be ideal so she can enjoy her outdoor playtime safely. She would be perfectly happy as the only pet in the home all the love for herself, as she truly deserves. This sweet girl has been through a lot, but her spirit remains pure and her heart full. Shes finally ready to move beyond her mama duties and start a new chapter one filled with comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.Coopie is so ready to find her forever family one that will give her the same devotion shes always given to others. If youre looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your home with warmth and joy, Coopie just might be your perfect match.Apply to adopt Coopie today and give this gentle Shepherd mix the loving forever home shes been waiting for.
