My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Dudung Age: About 3 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Cream Weight: 14kg / 30.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I used to live tied to a short chain—one meter was my whole world. When I gave birth to my puppies, they became everything to me. But no one around us wanted us. We were almost taken to a rural market and given away for free like we didn’t matter. But just before that could happen, someone reached out and saved us. All I’m hoping for now is a home where I’m finally free, and truly loved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY  I may take a little more time to open up—but I promise, I’m worth it. New people and unfamiliar places can feel a bit overwhelming for me at first. I like to take things slow and watch from a distance before I decide it’s safe. But if you come with a tasty treat and a gentle heart, I’ll start to warm up quicker than you might expect. That’s kind of my secret—I’m shy, but food helps me be brave. I’ve been learning a lot over the past few months. I used to feel unsure around other dogs, but now I’m living peacefully with my friends and getting better every day. Once I feel comfortable, my soft and sweet nature really starts to show. I may need a little extra time to adjust, but underneath my cautious side is a small, lovable dog just waiting to feel safe and loved. If you can be patient with me, I’ll slowly but surely become your quiet, loyal companion.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but if you have treats, I’ll slowly come closer and take them from you. I just need a bit of time to feel safe—once I do, I’ll let you gently pet me. The good news is, I’m comfortable being picked up when you gently lift me with an arm under my belly. I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, so I might need a calm and understanding introduction if I do. · With Dogs: I’m a social dog—I love making friends! Whether I know you or not, I’ll happily walk up to say hello and see if you want to play with me. I especially feel comfortable around dogs that are about my size, and I tend to get along really well with them. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy getting outside and staying active, but I’m not overly energetic. After some fresh air and a nice walk, I’m more than happy to settle down and relax quietly. I can get a little excited on walks and might pull on the leash at times, but I really do like to follow my person and stay close.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m not the type to guard my food—I’m pretty easygoing whether I’m around people or other dogs during mealtime. When I’m in my kennel, I settle in calmly and stay nice and quiet. I usually prefer doing my business outside, so I’m used to outdoor potty routines.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    DUDUNG'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2701890##
