My story

Ricky came us when his owner became homeless.  The foster mom noticed blood in his urine which prompted an immediate vet visit with diagnostics which = bladder stones  He is an active senior who loves to be with his family.  Currently he is working on losing a few pounds and is making good progress.  In addition to enjoying cuddling on the couch and giving kisses, he  loves going for walks in the neighborhood and playing with his family in a fenced yard Ricky is not a fan of other dogs on walks and is reactive.  He will bark and pull on leash. He can be quickly redirected and will walk away with a "let's go".  He is working on this behaviour and he would do best in a home as the only pet.     He can be left alone for a few hours at a time and is not destructive.  He is fully housetrained and will go to the door when he needs to be let out.   Ricky has recovered well from his surgery to remove bladder stones.  He has also received his vaccinations and had his teeth cleaned. While not a fan of baths he toughed it out and is now like a shiny new penny.  He is currently eating dry and wet urinary dog food without issue.     He is an intelligent and active dog who plays with his dog toys and knows the following commands - come, sit, off and bed.  He requires regular brushing to maintain his coat and control his shedding.    Ricky thinks he is a lap dog and is looking for a family he can cuddle up with while getting belly rubs and giving kisses.  While he has his own bed during the day, he sleeps with his foster family at night.     If you are looking for a sweet, loving and loyal friend Ricky is the "ticky" (ticket)       March 9, 2026, 8:36 am
