My story

Hello! My name is Penny, and I’m an active, intelligent cattle dog mix looking for a family that can keep up with my adventurous spirit. I can be a little shy when adjusting to new people and places, but with a little patience and encouragement, my playful personality quickly begins to shine through.I’m a high-energy girl who loves to stay busy, whether that means playing, exploring, or learning new things. Since I’m very food-motivated, I’m eager to work for treats and would likely enjoy training with my future family. I’d also make an excellent hiking companion for anyone looking for a four-legged partner to join them on outdoor adventures!Because of my energy level, I would do best in a home with a yard where I can stretch my legs and burn off some energy. I’ll need to meet any resident dogs and family members before heading home to make sure we’re a good match.
