My story

I'd like to re-introduce you to Obi! The charismatic young male rottie! Obi was adopted and returned to us recently because he wasn't getting along with the current dog in the home. He's sad to be back at the rescue, but excited for a chance to find his forever home! He's a bundle of energy, always ready to play! You won't believe how well-behaved he is - he's completely potty trained, walks like a dream on a leash with his trusty training collar, loves to play tug-war, fetch and even knows the command "drop it" for when you want him to release his toy. But wait, there's more! Obi is not just a well-mannered pup, he's also incredibly loving and eager to please. He's type of dog that will melt your heart with his loyalty and affection. Anyone would be lucky to have this amazing boy! Our Adoption Process If you are interested in adopting one of our fun-loving, "not-so-rotten" Rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that allows us to get to know you better. This ensures the dog you are interested in is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access the questionnaire by visiting our website at www.rottenrottie.com, clicking on the "Forms" tab, and submitting the form online. After reviewing your answers, if we feel the dog you are interested in is not a match for your family, we may recommend a different Rottweiler companion. Once we determine which dog is best for you, we will schedule a meeting at their current home, where they feel most comfortable and act naturally. We require a home check to ensure each dog is going to a safe environment. To finalize the process, an adoption contract must be signed. We also require a rehoming fee, which is typically $500 for most adults and $350 for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes of any age (excluding puppies). Fees for puppies fluctuate depending on the investment required for the litter and whether they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary for our organization to continue rehoming Rottweilers in need. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Each dog comes with a collar and a leash. We also address any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care; any such conditions will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to the adoption. Please Note: In almost all cases, we do not adopt to out-of-state applicants. On rare occasions, if we feel it is a perfect match for both you and the dog, we may make an exception for our neighbors in Las Vegas. If you live in Las Vegas and would like us to consider your application, please fill out the questionnaire.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Obi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
