My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Nico Age: 5 months Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo mix Color: Beige Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Nico! I was rescued from Pyeongtaek Shelter, where I was facing euthanasia. Thanks to a kind hand, I now have a second chance at life.   MY PERSONALITY When you first meet me, I might be a little shy for a few days. But once I warm up, I’m super affectionate and love to follow you everywhere. I just can’t get enough of people. If my human is petting another dog, I’ll sneak in and ask for some love for myself. When we walk, I like to stay right by your feet, so be careful not to trip over me. I’m still a puppy, but I’m not overly energetic. I love being held and cuddled more than running around, and I’m a real sweetheart who loves attention.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but if you offer me a treat, I’ll take it and quickly warm up to you. I haven’t met children under 13 years old yet, so I’m still learning about them. Once I trust you, I’ll happily show my belly and even let you pick me up gently by tucking your arms under me. With a little patience, I’ll be your loving companion in no time. · With Dogs: I’m very friendly and sociable. I approach not only my close dog friends but also new dogs to say hello and invite them to play.I’m usually friendly with dogs of a similar size to me.Even if another dog tries to provoke me, I tend to avoid conflict and keep the peace. · With Cats: I haven’t had any observed reactions to cats yet.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I enjoy outdoor activities with a normal energy level, but I tend to rest quietly afterward.I sometimes pull on the leash, but I generally follow people well.Since I have little experience with walks, I may lie flat when something scares me.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs, and I may bark to ask for something I want. I also bark when I see strangers, but I am calm when placed in a kennel. I can go to the bathroom both on indoor pads and outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME My ideal home would be with a patient and loving family who can help me grow confident and happy. I would thrive in a home where: The environment is safe, calm, and structured. The family enjoys spending quality time both indoors and outdoors. I can receive plenty of love, attention, and gentle cuddles. The family understands that I may need guidance with leash walking. My shy nature is respected, and patience is given so I can become more confident.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a very loving and beautiful puppy. I’m a 2nd stage rescue dog, which means I’m still learning how to trust and socialize after being rescued. I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly and love to be around people. I enjoy cuddles, attention, and following my humans everywhere.   Nico's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2589535##
