My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Prince Age: 1.5 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Spitz–Corgi mix Color: White Weight: 6.5 kg / 14 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was on the euthanasia list at the Miryang City Shelter, with only a little time left. But a volunteer saved me just in time, and now I’m safe and ready for a new life.   MY PERSONALITY Hi! I’m Prince — a sweet, playful boy who loves to make new friends once I feel comfortable. I’m super affectionate and love showing my cute, silly side! I get along well with other dogs, especially ones my size, but I haven’t met children under 13 or cats yet, so slow introductions would be best. I can be a little shy at first, and sometimes I try to run off, so I’m looking for a patient and loving family who can help me feel safe and confident. With the right home, I promise to fill your days with cuddles, tail wags, and lots of smiles!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but I’ll gladly take treats from your hand as I get to know you. Once I feel safe and comfortable, I start to open up and allow gentle pets. I haven’t had much experience around children under 13, so slow, calm introductions would be best. And because I don’t like being lifted with arms under my belly, I prefer being handled gently in other ways that make me feel secure. · With Dogs: I’m very friendly and love approaching other dogs — not just the ones I already know, but even new dogs I meet. I’ll happily walk up to say hello, though I don’t always play with unfamiliar dogs right away. I’m generally most comfortable and social with dogs that are similar in size to me. · With Cats: I haven’t been tested with cats, so my reactions to them are unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level — I enjoy outdoor activities, but I settle down calmly once I’m back inside. I do tend to pull on the leash a bit, but overall, I follow people well and stay connected on walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food, whether around people or other dogs. I may bark to ask for something I want, but I stay calm in my kennel. I’m comfortable using both indoor pads and going potty outside.   MY IDEAL HOME My ideal home would be one where I can enjoy regular outdoor activities and have plenty of love and attention. A household with other friendly dogs of similar size would be great, but I’d do well in a calm environment without young children. I need a family who understands rescue dogs and is ready to help me thrive.   SPECIAL NOTES I share the same mother as JamJam — when JamJam’s mom came to the shelter, I came along as a puppy, and one of her littermates was JamJam. Once I get comfortable, I’m very affectionate and playful, showing lots of cuteness. I do have a tendency to try to run off, so I need consistent home training. I’m considered a Level 3 rescue dog, which means I need a patient and experienced family to help me thrive.   Prince's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2586897##
