My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Matilda Age: 2 years Gender: Female (Neutered/Spayed) Breed: Shiba × Corgi Mix Color: White Weight: 11kg / 24 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, and Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued along with a poodle after being abandoned in a warehouse. Though my past was scary and uncertain, I’m ready to start a new life with a loving family.   MY HEALTH Vaccinations: Distemper/Parvo/Corona (Oct 12, 2025) Vaccinations: Distemper/Parvo/Corona (Oct 28, 2025) 4DX Test (Oct 12, 2025): Negative for Heartworm   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I am Matilda, I’m a clever, sweet, and super friendly pup! I already know some basic tricks like “sit” and “stay,” and I absolutely love playing with my toys. I’m full of charm and can be quite playful, but I’m also calm and well-behaved when I’m indoors. I get along wonderfully with people and other dogs, and I adjust easily to new surroundings.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very affectionate and friendly, approaching not only people I know well but also strangers, letting them pet me easily. I get along wonderfully with children under 13. You can lift me by placing your arms under my belly, and I even show my belly to people I’m meeting for the first time. · With Dogs: I’m very social and friendly, approaching not only dogs I know well but also unfamiliar dogs to say hello and play. I’m generally friendly toward dogs bigger than me, as well as dogs similar in size or smaller than me. Even if another dog provokes me, I usually try to avoid conflict. · With Cats: When I see a cat during walks, I usually stay focused on my human rather than getting distracted   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have an average energy level and enjoy outdoor activities, but I like to rest calmly afterward. I rest well only if I get enough activity. I have plenty of walking experience, walk nicely without pulling on the leash, and follow my human well.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people, but I may growl if another dog comes near while I’m eating. I’m calm when I’m in my kennel. I usually go potty outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I would thrive in a loving home where I can be part of the family’s daily life. I’d do well as an only dog or with another friendly, calm dog. A family who enjoys playtime, cuddles, and regular walks would make me happiest. I’m confident, adaptable, and ready to bring joy to a forever home.   SPECIAL NOTES I seem to have lived in a home before, as I know basic commands like “sit” and “stay.” I’m very smart, friendly, and affectionate. I’m a Level 1 rescue dog which means I’m calm, friendly, and easy to care for and can adapt well to almost any environment. I’m confident, full of charm, and love to be playful. I enjoy toys and being active, but I’m calm and well-behaved indoors.   Matilda's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2580925##
