My story

Willie is fostered in the St Catharines area. Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website.Willie is a very happy, sweet little guy. He may be a bit shy at first, but it doesn't seem to last too long. He's mostly calm, but is known to have little zoomies every once in a while. He likes to cuddle up to his humans and you will likely also find him cuddled up under a couch blanket. He would do best in a home that has a calm environment. He enjoys going for walks and is perfect walking on leash, no pulling and will stay beside you. His walking speed is slow/medium. One of Willie's favorite past times is soaking up the sun, either inside in a bed by a window or outside in a backyard (weather dependent). While Willie would not require another dog in the home with him, the perfect dog companion for him would be one his size that is calm in nature like just like him. Willie goes for car rides and into stores that allows dogs and does very well. Willie would be best suited in a detached house as he does have mild separation anxiety. He will make a high pitch whinning noise for about 10 minutes but he does settle afterwards for the rest of the time. He is known to be weary and fear reactive to men in a previous home, however, we have not seen this and will update his profile if this changes.
